Dr. Martin Luther King's  Birthday (observed) January 16-No School

To honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's contribution to American history, our class will be incorporating his works into writing this week. They will be writing in response to the following question: What did Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. do to earn a holiday? If there is anything that you would like to do to enhance your child's knowledge of his contributions and the Civil Rights movement, please feel free to do so.
